Otello is the limited edition machine that celebrates the original project of the company’s founder, re-proposing the historical design with modern technologies, valuable materials and exclusive finishes.

The design

In the original design Otello Marcato presented avant-garde solutions such as the regulator to modify the thickness of the sheet of pasta with 7 positions.
The modern version of the machine combines the original design with modern finishes: the rollers are in anodized aluminium alloy while the material of the combs and scrapers is a technopolymer.

The woods

The bases and handle knobs are made of solid Wenge wood. They give a vintage look without giving up the stability and resistance typical of Marcato products. The wood is treated with natural oil to increase its resistance and durability.

Finishes

Otello’s structure is made of chrome-plated aluminium with PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) treatment, a process that deposits a thin metal film on top of the chrome, guaranteeing a spectacular aesthetic effect and hardening of the surface.

An Italian icon

Otello is a limited-edition collector’s item, designed and manufactured by us to represent Italian design around the world. But Otello is also a real fresh pasta machine, with which you can prepare pasta sheets, fettuccine and tagliolini.

With Otello you can make Lasagne with a maximum width of 150mm, Fettuccine of 6.5mm and Tagliolini of 1.5mm.

Accessories

Otello is sold with a clamp that allows a firm hold on the table top.
