ALESSI Tea Rex Kettle

Michael Graves’s kettle is internationally recognized as one of the icons of contemporary design, thanks to the mix of pop and postmodern language. For the kettle’s thirtieth anniversary, Graves redesigned the whistle, transforming the bird into a fascinating mythological and futuristic creature: a dragon, a flying dinosaur. A symbol of strength and luck in Chinese culture, the dragon was chosen as a good omen for those who put it in their kitchen.
