The vases, bowls and candlesticks of designer Achim Haigis’ “Surface” series in glass and porcelain were created as part of an experimental discussion. The content and inspiration are crystalline forms. The shapes in this series from the Rosenthal studio line describe the appeal of a variety of forms that come from nature. The designer’s playful and experimental approach creates multifaceted bodies that penetrate the room in perspective.
